YAT

Mika YAT Sitter is a French/Austrian urban artist originally from Paris, based in Berlin since 2013. His style can be described as Calligraffiti, where the precision of Calligraphy meets the energetic flow of Graffiti.

After completing a Bachelor of Arts specialised in Illustration in 2017 at BTK (Berliner Technische Kunsthochschule), he participated in several big urban art exhibitions such as ‘The Haus, Berlin Art Bang!’ (2017), ‘Wandelism’ (2018) or the ‘Berlin Mural Fest’ (2018).

Since then he had solo exhibitions in Paris (2021), Berlin (2022, 2023), Barcelona (2023) and Istanbul (2023), often following art residencies in those cities. In parallel he has been freelancing and took on commissions with different urban art agencies such as ‘Book A Street Artist’ and ‘Street Art Berlin’, giving Graffiti Workshops or painting murals for clients including Red Bull, KaDeWe, John Reed Fitness, Rewe and LiveEo to name a few.
